
“The Imperfect Miracle: Israel at the Crossroads” – Thurs 6/1 @ 7:30 p.m. at the Merrick Jewish Centre

For well over a century, musical theater has been at the forefront of the performing arts in America and around the globe. Songs by composers such as Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, and Irving Berlin live on in Broadway revivals and in community theater productions. Part One of this multi-part series at Merrick Jewish Centre (225 Fox Blvd, Merrick) will focus on highlights from Oklahoma!, The Phantom of the Opera, Anything Goes, and Girl Crazy.
